Head of laboratory:
This unit engages in two main areas of research, namely:
- Investigation of the structure and function of contractile and cytoskeletal proteins, particularly those involved in heart failure.
- Developing new biotechnology, including: building protein microarrays for the diagnosis of inflammation, building nanoarray-devices to study properties of motor proteins and developing biosensors of to measure levels of aqueous pollution.
