Research for better health

The Bosch Institute carries out research into the normal functioning of the human body and the way this changes in disease. The emphasis is on finding new ways of detecting, preventing and treating human disease and discovering the factors essential for the health of the individual. To this end, the Bosch Institute carries out "from bench to bedside" research with projects that range from basic research at the molecular level right through to the application of research findings in a clinical setting.

Research in the Institute is divided into 5 Research Themes:

Organ & tissue replacement is a new theme of research which will undergo rapid expansion over the next few years as part of the Institute's Strategic Plan.
